The short version: you keep ownership of what you share. You give us permission to show it in the archive. Only post things you have the right to share, be decent to other fans, and know that we may remove content that breaks these rules.
About the archive
The L7 Archive is an independent, fan-run project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by L7 or its members. It collects the band's history through things fans saved. By using the site, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
Who can use it
You must be at least 13 years old to sign in, submit, or comment. If you're under the age of majority where you live, you should have a parent or guardian's permission.
Your account
You sign in with a link sent to your email. Keep access to that email secure, because anyone who can open it can sign in as you. Display names must not impersonate another person, and we may change or remove names that are misleading or offensive.
What you share
You keep ownership of the photos, stories, and comments you post. By submitting them, you give the L7 Archive a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, reproduce, and adapt them (for example, resizing photos) in order to run, show, and promote the archive. You can ask us to remove your content at any time, and the license ends when it's removed, except for copies that others have already shared or that we must keep for legal reasons.
When you submit something, you confirm that:
- You own the item or took the photo, or have permission to share it.
- If the photo shows another person, including their tattoo, they have agreed to it being shared. Tattoo photos should come from the person wearing the tattoo, or be shared with their permission.
- It doesn't violate anyone's copyright, privacy, or other rights.
- Your story is truthful to the best of your knowledge.
Community rules
Don't post anything that:
- Harasses, threatens, or bullies anyone, or promotes hate based on who people are.
- Is sexually explicit, violent, or illegal.
- Shares someone else's private information without permission.
- Is spam, advertising, or an attempt to sell items without our approval.
- Tries to disrupt, hack, or overload the site.
All submissions are reviewed before they appear. We may edit details for accuracy, decline or remove content, hide comments, or suspend accounts that break these rules, at our discretion.
Copyright complaints
If you believe something on the archive infringes your copyright, email hello@l7archive.com with a link to the content, a description of your work, and your contact details. We'll review it and remove content where appropriate.
Band names and marks
Band names, logos, album titles, and related marks belong to their respective owners. Items shown in the archive are fan-owned memorabilia shared for historical and community purposes.
No guarantees
The archive is provided "as is." Stories and details come from fans and may not always be accurate. We try to keep the site running, but can't promise it will always be available or error-free, and we may change or discontinue features at any time.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, the L7 Archive and the people who run it are not liable for indirect or incidental damages, or for loss of data, arising from your use of the site. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under laws that can't be waived.
Ending your use
You can stop using the archive at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or end access for anyone who breaks these terms.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. If we do, we'll change the date at the top. Continuing to use the site after changes means you accept the updated terms.
